Mini Compact Chambers & Portable Test Cells
The PTC range consists of an operating frequency exceeding 3GHz, the PTC creates an ideal environment for testing wireless devices for technologies such as GSM, UMTS, CDMA, Bluetooth, DECT, W-LAN, Zigbee, RFID and Wimax. Constructed from a welded aluminium, the pre-designed range consists of various sized enclosures to fit most wireless devices from USB dongles to laptop size units.
3m - 10m Chambers
A 3-10 metre test range ensuring fully compliant Emission and Immunity testing. Ferrite and hybrid pyramidal absorbers are combined in a unique pattern within a SmartShield high performance chamber. Operating at a 5m test distance, this chamber is compliant to CISPR-16 with a measurement zone diameter of 2-4 meters.
Mode Stir Chambers
Mode stir chambers or reverberation chambers are particularly suited for immunity testing for EMC measurement and special applications for very high-field strength applications (200V/m – 7000V/m). The paddle system ensures that the widest range of frequencies – particularly low frequency – performance is maximized. This system meets testing requirements of the IEC61000-4-21 EMC testing specification.

With a vast amount of experience which spans decades we have installed some of the most high profile projects around the world including the largest EMC facility in Europe.
RF Chamber Servicing
To ensure the RF integrity of a chamber, regular servicing is required by a qualified RF technician. Servicing involves inspection and cleaning of door fingers, mechanisms, and existing penetrations. During servicing a shielding effectiveness test is carried out of to verify RF performance of the chamber.
With a full mechanical, electrical and RF design team using CAD and 3D modelling tools, any customer/application specific requirements can be addressed with ease.
We offer a wide range of RF accessories – Power and signal filters, ferrite tiles, anechoic absorbers, turntables, masts, controllers, CCTV, filters, optic fibre media convertors and specialised wave guides to suit RF penetrations and RF connectors.
To preserve the longevity of any chamber, RFI Shielding provides an experienced team who are capable of upgrading and maintaining any existing chamber irrespective of the manufacturer.
